One of the best aspects of Meraki Chalet is its location in the serene and charming town of Val-Morin, nestled along the North River. This peaceful setting is perfect for embracing a slower pace of life and reconnecting with nature. To preserve this tranquility and protect our guests, property, and neighbors, we have a few important rules and guidelines.
As part of the booking process, you agree to the following terms:
At Meraki Chalet, we understand that many guests rent a chalet to celebrate special occasions. We welcome gatherings that are respectful of the property, neighbors, and natural surroundings.
To ensure a pleasant experience for all, we kindly ask guests to adhere to the following guidelines:
Noise Levels: Quiet hours are enforced from 9:30 PM to 8:00 AM. During this time, noise must be kept to a minimum.
No Disturbances: Please avoid excessively loud music, shouting, or other disruptive behavior at any time.
No Fireworks: Fireworks and other pyrotechnics are strictly prohibited at all times.
Consequences for Non-Compliance: Violations of this policy may result in immediate eviction without refund, along with charges for additional cleaning, damages, or other associated costs.
To maintain the safety of our guests, the property, and our wonderful neighbors, we use two types of monitoring:
Disabling or removing the monitoring devices will result in the loss of the full security deposit.
Accidents Happen:
We understand that sometimes things break. Minor wear and tear are expected, but guests are responsible for reporting any significant damage or breakage during their stay.
Outdoor Equipment:
Guests are responsible for securing their belongings, and the chalet owners are not liable for lost or stolen items.
Shoes Off Inside:
Please remove shoes when indoors to prevent wear and tear on the floors.
Meraki Chalet offers ample parking in the designated driveway, which accommodates up to 10 vehicles.
Please note:
Steep Driveway: The driveway is steep, and we strongly recommend using a 4-wheel drive vehicle, especially during winter months.
Parking at the Top: For convenience, there are 2 parking spots available at the top of the driveway.
Ice Management: Ice-melting salt is provided to help ensure safe access during icy conditions.
Prohibited Parking:
Parking on the road, in the yard, or in a neighbor’s driveway is strictly prohibited.
