Can I bring my pet to the chalet?
At Meraki Chalet, pets are not permitted to ensure the comfort and cleanliness of the space for all guests. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to hosting you in our pet-free environment.
What time is check-in and check-out?
- Check-In: Anytime after 4:00 PM
- Check-Out: By 11:00 AM
Meraki Chalet offers self-check-in via a secure digital keypad on the entry door, so you can arrive and depart on your schedule. Your unique keypad code and detailed check-in instructions will be sent to you via email the day before your arrival.
What is the cancellation policy?
- 31+ Days Before Arrival: 100% of paid prepayments are refundable.
- 14–30 Days Before Arrival: 50% of paid prepayments are refundable.
- Within 14 Days of Arrival: Non-refundable.
Note: The risk of acquiring COVID-19 or other unforeseen circumstances is a known travel risk. We encourage purchasing travel insurance to protect against unexpected losses.
What type of Wi-Fi, TV, and technology is available?
- Wi-Fi: High-speed internet, perfect for streaming, video conferencing, or multiple device connections.
- TV: A large HD Smart TV is provided.
- Streaming Services: Netflix, Crave, Disney and Discovery+ is included, and you’re welcome to log into your own streaming accounts (remember to log out before checkout!).
What supplies do I need to bring to the chalet?
We’ve got you covered with most everyday household items to make your vacation stress-free. Check out the amenities list to see what’s included with your rental. If there’s something you think we should add, let us know—we love guest suggestions!
Why is there a cleaning fee if I have to do basic checkout tasks?
To provide a thoroughly cleaned and sanitized space, we hire professional cleaners after each stay. While we include a cleaning fee in your reservation, it only covers a portion of the actual cleaning costs. Basic checkout tasks, like tidying up and loading the dishwasher, help us keep cleaning fees reasonable for all guests and avoid raising nightly rates.
Is firewood provided?
Firewood is not provided but can be purchased at local market for $10 per bundle.
Is parking included?
Yes, the chalet provides free parking for up to 10 vehicles in the designated driveway.
- Prohibited: Parking on the road, in the yard, or in a neighbor’s driveway is strictly forbidden.
Will I encounter wildlife around the chalet?
Meraki Chalet is located in the heart of nature, so occasional interactions with wildlife are part of the charm. Common visitors include deer, rabbits, fox, field mice, frogs, garden snakes.
Preventing Uninvited Guests:
- Keep food stored securely, ideally in the fridge.
- Avoid leaving trash outside; use bins with latching lids.
- Close doors and windows when not in use.
Are there cameras at the chalet?
For safety and security, Meraki Chalet is equipped with:
- Ring Doorbell Cameras: These cameras monitor all of the main entrances.
- Driveway Cameras: These cameras monitor the driveway.
Tampering with or disabling these devices will result in a complete security deposit loss.
